God Bless Our Troops

Wow, I'm usually pretty consistent with posting to this blog, but a couple of days got by me. I'm down to the last 3 stockings to make. Then I need to sew those up, steam this last batch, get it sent out, and we are done with stockings for a while.

Clayton, Claire, and Madison helped me decorate the tree the other day. Grandpa will help us finish the top of it. I'm waiting for some icicle lights to arrive so I can finish the porch.

Word of the day:
Thursday of the First week of Advent
Today the Church celebrates : St. Francis Xavier, Priest (1506-1552) - Memorial
Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 7:21.24-27.

Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven. Everyone who listens to these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock. The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and buffeted the house. But it did not collapse; it had been set solidly on rock. And everyone who listens to these words of mine but does not act on them will be like a fool who built his house on sand. The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and buffeted the house. And it collapsed and was completely ruined."
