I am so late getting on here today. I started the day with a 2 mile run, followed by a staff meeting. Picked up a few things after the meeting and came home and made dinner. After dinner I decided to make a video of me cutting up the lemongrass (posted below). Well, Harold came in and decided he needed to be part of the process so I added him to the video. It took me most of the afternoon to do the video, edit it, and upload it. Those of you who have seen it, just scroll on by. LOL!  Harold has been frantically checking for comments.  It's so funny.  He thinks he needs to borrow my ipod so he won't miss a posting.

Later, I managed to pull a muscle in my back while reaching for something while I was putting up a new soap shelf. The one I have downstairs is nice, but the chicken wire is cutting into my softer cold process slices and loaves. No quilting tonight because my back hurts.

I did manage to make a loaf of Monkey Bars because I think that's going to be a favorite of mine. I sprinkled orange and yellow on top to represent bananas and peaches.  I also made 4 Maple Leaf bars for samples.  I can feel heat coming off of this loaf.  I like these green silicone molds for small batches, but I think my favorite is my 60 oz. wooden mold.  I don't mind lining it because it came with a wooden form to mold my freezer paper on.

I used up the last of the lye. I am hoping my new supply comes tomorrow. I got a shipping notice on it today.

As stated in the video, Deb from Springvale Soap took pity on me (ahahahaha) and placed an order so I now have an official soap sale off of Etsy.   Thanks, Deb.  I hope you enjoy the soap.  Don't forget that the Honey, Oats and Milk has a cure date of May 2.

Oh, I forgot to tell you the reason I am so late getting on here.  At the moment we are again a "one computer" household.  Our PC is having boot up issues.  Of course when we take it in, they have no problem booting it up.  "It could be one of a thousand things."  Not good news.

Word of the day:
Thursday of the Fourth week of Lent
Saint(s) of the day : Bl. Sr Josaphata Hordashevska (1869-1919)
Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint John 5:31-47.

Jesus said to the Jews: «If I testify on my own behalf, my testimony is not true.
But there is another who testifies on my behalf, and I know that the testimony he gives on my behalf is true.
You sent emissaries to John, and he testified to the truth.
I do not accept testimony from a human being, but I say this so that you may be saved.
He was a burning and shining lamp, and for a while you were content to rejoice in his light.
But I have testimony greater than John's. The works that the Father gave me to accomplish, these works that I perform testify on my behalf that the Father has sent me.
Moreover, the Father who sent me has testified on my behalf. But you have never heard his voice nor seen his form,
and you do not have his word remaining in you, because you do not believe in the one whom he has sent.
You search the scriptures, because you think you have eternal life through them; even they testify on my behalf.
But you do not want to come to me to have life.
I do not accept human praise;
moreover, I know that you do not have the love of God in you.
I came in the name of my Father, but you do not accept me; yet if another comes in his own name, you will accept him.
How can you believe, when you accept praise from one another and do not seek the praise that comes from the only God?
Do not think that I will accuse you before the Father: the one who will accuse you is Moses, in whom you have placed your hope.
For if you had believed Moses, you would have believed me, because he wrote about me.
But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe my words?"

Ah, good thing you reminded me of the cure date. I forgot it was brand new.

And hey, it pays to whine on your blog indeed. I whine on mine all the time. I've blabbered all over that I'm too chicken to do videos but I will be blogging about my lovely Sugar Bush haul. :)
