God Bless Our Troops

I puttered around doing some packaging today.  I made a batch of Blueberry Cobbler bath fizzies.  The batch I made the other night - well, let's say it isn't wise to put a fan on them if it is humid outside and the fan is next to a window.  They fizzed on me.  Smelled great, but the batch was wasted.  :(  I'm getting a little discouraged because I have given away several of these fizzies and only one person has given me any feedback.  I wish we still had a tub so I could test them out myself.  I don't know if they just didn't like them, haven't used them, or both.
Here is a picture of tonight's batch.  They look pretty good and I'm hoping they don't fizz on me before they are dried.  I have finally perfected my recipe!!

Word of the day:
Saturday of the Twelfth week in Ordinary Time
Saint(s) of the day : St. William of Vercelli (of Monte-Vergine), Abbot (+ 1142)
Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 8:5-17.

When he entered Capernaum, a centurion approached him and appealed to him,
saying, "Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, suffering dreadfully."
He said to him, "I will come and cure him."
The centurion said in reply, "Lord, I am not worthy to have you enter under my roof; only say the word and my servant will be healed.
For I too am a person subject to authority, with soldiers subject to me. And I say to one, 'Go,' and he goes; and to another, 'Come here,' and he comes; and to my slave, 'Do this,' and he does it."
When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, "Amen, I say to you, in no one in Israel have I found such faith.
I say to you, many will come from the east and the west, and will recline with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob at the banquet in the kingdom of heaven,
but the children of the kingdom will be driven out into the outer darkness, where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth."
And Jesus said to the centurion, "You may go; as you have believed, let it be done for you." And at that very hour (his) servant was healed.
Jesus entered the house of Peter, and saw his mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever.
He touched her hand, the fever left her, and she rose and waited on him.
When it was evening, they brought him many who were possessed by demons, and he drove out the spirits by a word and cured all the sick,
to fulfill what had been said by Isaiah the prophet: "He took away our infirmities and bore our diseases."

I tried making bath bombs once. I figured if kids can do it, how hard can it be? Ha, right. It was a complete failure and I never tried again.

I'm intrigued by the idea of bubble bars though . . .

This batch turned out, but my Bubble Bar experiment was a total bust. LOL!

I keep forgetting to tell you this, but why not post on our Facebook page looking for product testers? Pick 5-10 people who can try them for just the cost of shipping. But the stipulation is that they need to provide feedback within 5 days of receiving them. And then you can use the comments on our Facebook page, in newsletters, in Etsy/Artfire listings, etc.
