God Bless Our Troops

Well, the internet connection has slowed to a crawl again today so we'll see if I can even get this thing to post. It is so frustrating because I know they're doing what they can, but sheesh, I am about to go back to dial-up.

I had rehearsal with the cantors last night. I love those ladies!! Came home and found a batch of Apple Jack soap that needed to be packaged. I cut up the the other two batches that I made. Tonight I will be pouring candles. Thank goodness the wax came yesterday.

Word of the day:
Thursday of the Fourth week of Easter
Today the Church celebrates : St Catherine of Siena, Virgin and Dortor of the Church (1347-1380) - Memorial (Feast in Europe), St Hugh of Cluny, Abbot (1024-1109)
Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint John 13:16-20.

When Jesus had washed the disciples' feet, he said to them: «Amen, amen, I say to you, no slave is greater than his master nor any messenger greater than the one who sent him. If you understand this, blessed are you if you do it. I am not speaking of all of you. I know those whom I have chosen. But so that the scripture might be fulfilled, 'The one who ate my food has raised his heel against me.' From now on I am telling you before it happens, so that when it happens you may believe that I AM. Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever receives the one I send receives me, and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me."
