So much going on in the news. Three celebrities left us this week. All three deaths are sad in their own right, but I think we would all agree that Michael Jackson's was the most tragic. Here is a man who never seemed comfortable in his own skin. Never seemed to know who he was. Immensely talented no matter what you thought of him personally. Such a waste. Farrah, a figure of strength and grace in dealing with her battle. Ed McMahon - his passing the end of an era.

Word of the day:
Friday of the Twelfth week in Ordinary Time
Today the Church celebrates : St. JosemarĂa Escrivá de Balaguer - Priest, Founder of Opus Dei - (1902-1975), SS. John and Paul, Martyrs
Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 8:1-4.
When Jesus came down from the mountain, great crowds followed him. And then a leper approached, did him homage, and said, "Lord, if you wish, you can make me clean." He stretched out his hand, touched him, and said, "I will do it. Be made clean." His leprosy was cleansed immediately. Then Jesus said to him, "See that you tell no one, but go show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses prescribed; that will be proof for them."
