Yesterday was Shepherd's homecoming and Shepherd won! Whoo Hoo!
I canned 9 pints of pears yesterday, but I don't think I'll be doing that again.
Harold and I also bagged umpymillion bags of cut-up chicken parts. We emptied and defrosted the freezer last week and it looks pretty good in there.
Our CD is officially in production. All artwork has been approved and all the necessary papers have been sent in. The bonfire is set for Friday, October 16 so now the next project is to clean the garage.
Remember the shutters I was working on? I left the top off the paint and it dried out. Now I have to wait for Harold to get some more.

Saturday of the Twenty-fifth week in Ordinary Time
Today the Church celebrates : Sts. Cosmas & Damian
Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Luke 9:43-45.
And all were astonished by the majesty of God. While they were all amazed at his every deed, he said to his disciples, Pay attention to what I am telling you. The Son of Man is to be handed over to men. But they did not understand this saying; its meaning was hidden from them so that they should not understand it, and they were afraid to ask him about this saying.
