Today is the day I officially start my fall decorating. I don't haul out pumpkins just yet, but I do bring out the apples. I love fall.

I never got back here yesterday, but I did get a lot done. For the first time in a long time I did all of the laundry and got it ALL put away. I also paid all of the bills. I made a batch of apple jack 'n peel soap and a batch of crisp green apple candles. I did my stint in the living room, made 2 stockings, and checked the garden. I found a huge zucchini that I missed. I didn't have shoes on so I'll do a better check today.

The CD mixing session that was supposed to be last night was re-scheduled for tonight. Hopefully we'll only need one more session after this. We already have people giving us money to reserve a copy.

Word of the day:
Tuesday of the Twenty-second week in Ordinary Time
Today the Church celebrates : St. Giles of Castaneda, Abbot (640-720)
Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Luke 4:31-37.

Jesus then went down to Capernaum, a town of Galilee. He taught them on the sabbath, and they were astonished at his teaching because he spoke with authority. In the synagogue there was a man with the spirit of an unclean demon, and he cried out in a loud voice, Ha! What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are--the Holy One of God! Jesus rebuked him and said, "Be quiet! Come out of him!" Then the demon threw the man down in front of them and came out of him without doing him any harm. They were all amazed and said to one another, "What is there about his word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out." And news of him spread everywhere in the surrounding region.
