Here is a pic of yesterday's batch of vanilla soap. Vanilla causes soap to turn brown depending on how much vanilla is in the fragrance oil. Since this IS vanilla, it will turn a chocolate brown. The loaf slices are darker because the soap gelled so it turned more quickly, but eventually all of the soaps will be the same dark brown.
