God Bless Our Troops

Well, today was pretty good except for the one menopausal moment when I completely forgot that we had scheduled a meeting of the Liturgy Committee. The rest of the day was fairly productive. It started with a funeral. Then I finally headed up to Goodwill to deposit the week's decluttering. It filled half the back seat and all of the trunk.

Clay and Claire just went home. Thank goodness for DVRs because they like to watch Dora the Explorer and she's off the air by the time they get here.

My neapolitan fragrance oil came today so I think tomorrow I will try to pour some layered candles.

Word of the day:
Friday after Ash Wednesday
Today the Church celebrates : St Boniface of Lausanne, St. Barbatus, Bishop (+ 682)
Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 9:14-15.

Then the disciples of John approached him and said, "Why do we and the Pharisees fast (much), but your disciples do not fast?" Jesus answered them, "Can the wedding guests mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? The days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast.
